If Gibraltar wants to be British it should stop being a tax haven and be treated as a county. Rockshire. Either that or become a provincita of Spain. Or become 100% independent. Those are the only sensible options. They can choose. Pretty simple.

Ceuta, Catalonia, and other such windmills have nothing to do with our exit negotiations. Gibraltar does.

You are out of date mate

Gib has tightened up on it's taxation regime and is no longer listed as a 'tax haven'

In fact it is recognised as being more open than Netherlands and Norway....and Ceuta!

Of course the Channel Islands ARE listed as a tax haven!!

Does the EU outrank the UN? You have heard of the universal right of national self determination? How does becoming a part of Spain fit in with that ethos?

Most of that is irrelevant, but the taxation situation in Gibraltar is of interest. Tell us more, please.
For example, is any of that tax collected by the UK?

Don't tell me to find out for myself -- you've already done the research.

As for that ethos -- why should Gibraltar have any special status with respect to the EU once we're out? Forget Ceuta, etc, for now.

What's your view on Howard's words and May's threats, tough guy?

Are you trying to start a fight?  Grin

Thinking is not part of my cunning plan.

Howard's words were inappropriate.

May is involved in a childish tit for tat with the other side...that's politics.
