Saying I won't vote for Hillary and vote only for Sanders is symptomatic of a few generations taking for granted all of the enormous volume of benefits that are part of what our federal government provides. Go ahead, throw it all out.  And when you do and we regress rapidly towards a Haiti-like environment, thank only yourselves. The wealthy will just move to another location as they will have stripped what was left.

Guess what -- it's just the same here, in fact we're probably ahead of you in the great race to the bottom.

and then it breaks down.

If Bernie became president BigPharma would continue to have their way. It's the way the system is rigged. And as long as people have food in their bellies, electronic distractions and a decent roof over their head, people are not going to risk those things to change the system.

The system isn't rigged.  Its doing exactly what it's supposed to do.  If people don't get up off their ass and do something about it then they really can't blame anyone else when it goes tits up.

I'm not a Democrat, just an extreme anti-Republican. I've seen the damage they have done.

I have trouble reconciling this:

I'm not a Democrat, just an extreme anti-Republican.

with this:

I will vote in the general election for whoever the Democratic nominee is.

I'd consider Bloomberg if he threw his hat in the ring and I thought he'd have a really good chance to win. So, as it looks, I will be voting Democrat.

Bloomberg wouldn't have a shot nationally. 'New York Jew' already has two strikes against him on the national stage.

It'll be business as usual, regardless of who wins.

It'll be historic - we'll either have the first Jew, first Hispanic, first woman, or first billionaire POTUS.

I will be voting for Gary Johnson or writing in "Deez Nuts".

Well now I've gone and done it.

I am enjoying watching his antics very much. Substantively, it's hard to take seriously the chicken-littles who think he'd be the end of the world. Trump is by far the most moderate of all Republican contenders, and has no time for the Christer mob of angry obscurantists who want the Smiting Jesus to kill all the Muslims and Jews in Communist Amerika. I won't be voting for him, but there's no reason to get riled about him when it looks like his opponent will be a bowl of cold mashed potatoes named Hillary Clinton.

Oh, how wrong I was.

His disconnect from reality is getting even more bizarre.  Now he's saying Russia wants him to lose because he's tougher on them than anyone else has ever been.

It's getting worse by the minute.  First headline I saw with my morning coffee was his defense for paying off a porn-star... "What kind of lawyer records his clients?"  It's... amazing.  The party of Christian values STILL clings to this guy.

Then, he went off on China for not playing nice in this trade war he started.  Again... simply amazing.  It reminds me of when I was a network administrator at TWA.  A company that had been around for years.  Once respected and successful and I got to watch it crumble from the inside.

Now I get to see it happen to my country.

The best part of this bit is that Trump is now squirming, wondering what else Cohen has him on tape saying. I think that we've just seen the tip of the iceberg.

...and this is just a side dish. Mueller is working on the main course.

Heading back to Disney World in Oct. Still not sure if I can commit to seeing the Hall of Presidents since he's been added. But's it's one of those cheesy classics that you really have to sit through, like the Country Bear Jamboree or the Enchanted Tiki Room.  Hopefully, he will have fallen from grace by then and I can go in for a belly laugh.

I've never done the Florida park... but I'm taking my kids to the original in a couple of weeks.  There's only one president at the California park... a bit called 'Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.'  My dad made me go every visit.  One of the very first 'audio-animatronic' robots ever.  I won't make my kids sit through it (and Country Bear Jamboree is now a restaurant) but I can hardly pass up the Tiki Room.  It's just a great way to sit down and beat the heat for a few.  Especially with a Dole Pineapple Whip.

I totally forgot there wasn't a HoP at Disneyland. We haven't been there since 2012 and I don't think that we went to see Lincoln. Didn't know they axed the Jamboree either.

Dole Whip in the Tiki room...aaahhhh. Totally great way to escape the heat for a minute or two - especially in Florida where the climate is like fucking Vietnam. We've sort of shifted our preference from DL to WDW, but the Florida climate is way worse for theme parking. Southern Cali weather is the best. Cali beaches are also > Florida beaches.

Florida park is too big and hot for me.  California park is starting to lose it's magic though.  Walt's spirit is fading.  The corporate behemoth that started consuming it in the 70s has nearly completed it's feast.  Don't get me wrong, it was always a business but it used to be MORE than just a business.  Now it's just a real BIG business.

I totally hear that. Disney has become the very definition of Mega-Corporation. It's a behemoth and you can certainly feel it while walking through the parks.

For me it started when they acquired Star Wars. Then Pixar. And now Marvel. As much as I really enjoy all 3 of those....it's ain't fucking Walt Disney.

But whatever...it's a drug and they've got me hooked like Amy Winehouse.
